Reflect in a blog post on your portfolio site on this experience of retaking a training because of new updates to a tool and on any feedback you have on the new training. How do you feel about needing to stay on top of new updates to tools you’ve already learned?
I enjoyed seeing all the new changes and features of ArcGIS. I understand why we need to stay on top of new updates with continued training, and I can see how the nature of working as a Vivero fellow lends itself better to revisiting with trainings rather than learning about updates as they are made, because we are not guaranteed to be working with a specific digital tool all the time for our respective projects. I feel like if I had to use ArcGIS a lot, perhaps I would have already explored the new update, and this training might feel redundant, but because I do not have to use ArcGIS a lot this was a helpful training.
